On the 11th May we once again host a qualifier for the Northern Amateur Woman’s League, last year had a great display of strength and skill and we have no doubt this years athletes won’t disappoint. 5 events will seperate the pack with the top 4 from each category progressing to the final later in the year.
We are pleased to have been selected to host one of the qualifiers for this years competition. With an incredible prize pool up for grabs this is a not to be missed competition for any grip aficionado. All events are standardised across locations so you truly are being compared against the best in the UK. Entries are processed through the Gods of Grip website so head over and sign up now.
Think you've got a strong grip? Lets put it too the test. We are pleased to annouce we have partnered up with local grip enthusiast Andy Bell to bring you the first Grip only competition at Hull's Strongest.
Across 3 tests we will challenge various elements of your grip strength to determine the overall true grip champion. This will be an open weight/age competition with both a male and female component.
This years competition is live and ready for you to get booked onto! Head over to our facebook page for the event link for full details. To get you excited in the meantime why not check out this MAN-TAGE that last years competitor Ben Biglin put together from footage shot by JKMedia at last years comp.
Ok slightly delayed but the sentiment remains the same, we are a few weeks in now but has been great to see everybody back after the holiday period and hitting it hard again. I’m pleased to not also be able to say that our circuit classes have started back up and are getting busier but that we have just added a Friday night Yoga class! This will take place at 17:50 starting Feb 3rd so check it out and get booked on to avoid disappointment.
Whether your a shift worker, not bothered or just dedicated to your training we’ve got you covered over the holidays. Open 24hrs for all your training needs for members or day passes.
After 4 years of development and successful competitions at Peak Health and Fitness we started to outgrow the space available to us there. Embedded within a normal commercial gym we were never fully able to realise the full potential of a dedicated facilty aimed at strength sports. However with the interest and experience gained in that period it has allowed us the opportunity to expand into our own custom made facility. While our journey has only just started please keep checking back and follow the progress as it happens.
From an abandoned unit to a welcoming facility the road is a long one but worth it.
With the oven and extractor gone the guys could get in and clear that area, which meant we could attack it and get the Fitness Studio built. Heres a little timelapse video over 3 days of Ben and Gary raising the walls, fitting the joists and plasterboarding it all.
Short compilation of stills showing the progress at the unit. With all the previous tenants equipment and rubbish cleared out we were left with a blank canvas that we quickly filled! Progress is moving quick now and starting to look like what we’ve envisaged.
Starting to come together now, paint on the walls and kit arriving.
Access control is live and we are now open 24hrs!
